YCN - Art Fund_

This was a live brife set by YCN for their 2019 competition. The aim was to create a campaign aimed at 18-24 years olds to take a break and visit a museum or gallery.

The campaign I produced to answer the brife talks about how your mental health is just as important as your physical health. This campaign encourages you to take a step beyond your everyday life by taking a creative break.

This can be achieved by visiting museums or galleries which has many mental health benefits. There are monthly events around the UK which encourage students to attend museums and galleries.
At these events there is free personalised merchandise which helps to inspire both ‘creative’ and ‘academic’ students.

The app combines the powerful use of art therapy and the importance of changing scenery. Art work can be shared on
social media platforms using the hashtag (#affree). Each day, the top 3 designs will be placed on an Instagram page for other people’s inspiration.

‘Take a moment to enjoy the satisfaction of creating something of exceptional beauty. Set yourself free with Art Fund’.

Below are the final outcomes of my work:

Campaign Presentation

The week of submission is such a blur. After rushing about trying to hit a deadline that was sooner than originally told, I was also struck with a sickness bug making it hard for me to function and concentrate. The work was supposed to be due on Wednesday 10th January however, the paperwork said it was due Monday 8th. Even though I was struggling to keep anything down, I still managed to go into university to presentation my presentation (Friday 12th January) of the work I have produced. After all of the struggle, I'm proud of myself. My presentation went well, I received verbal positive feedback from Paul which makes me feel like I will achieve a strong grade of 2-1 or a first. Hopefully, it will be a first as I am aiming to achieve all first for semester 1.
